Well... lovanilla saw the red velvet recipe on the internet and we've not heard of it before (all 22 years of age and no sign of those delectable moist goodness) so we decided to give it a go. It was the first time we baked together and it was good fun. The cake turned out wonderful and although we've not baked together since, we often bake/cook on our own and sometimes we do it together and this blog is supposed to document that.
Unsurprisingly, we absolutely love food so there's bound to be some review of restaurants and such. Voltairess is our resident food critique who is currently residing in the Big Apple (not that hideous doughnut place. Oh by the way, we've got issues with some doughnut places in Malaysia, not naming names...). Voltairess's recently being sucked into cooking, trying various recipes including the keropok lekor (HO YEAH!). As for Nanie, she comes up once in a while. We know she's there... somewhere... She's now our resident kuih melayu extraordinaire after her adventure with badak berendam heheh!
Food is not a replacement of love. Food IS love.
